About Brittany
I enjoy teaching my students (and my own children) as I believe most people are able to understand anything they put their mind too. I would love to help students by motivating and engaging them and helping them feel confident in themselves.
I enjoy finding neat facts about things relevant to the subject that are interesting and engaging and finding ways that the topic may be useful in real life or motivating them to have a love of learning so that they may enjoy the subject or at least do well on that test so they can move on and never open that textbook again!

I like to get to know how the student is approaching the subject and what they have tried and find what teaching style works best for them. Do they enjoy watching YouTube videos that visually explain the subject but need help to apply it to their prescribed school work? Do they like reading but get lost in the tricky language and need someone to explain it in a easier way to understand? From there I can assure them that they are smart and will understand it! We just need to use their learning style and we can tackle it! I will work with the student until they feel confident on the subject. I also offer help to create a study timetable and help students feel confident and on top of things again.
