About Peter

I graduated from Husson University with an Education degree with a major in Accounting. During my years after graduation, I started tutoring friends and acquaintances in several subjects. I had always wanted my Master's degree so I went back to school in 1986. I was asked by one of my professors if I would like to teach some classes for Husson. That started my career teaching at the college level. The number of students over these past years is too many to count. I have had classes with 5 students and some with 35 students. Over the years I have met up with students who are working in the business world as Accountants, HR Directors, Business Managers and one who went on to become an RN after getting her Associates in Accounting. I have had the pleasure of working with some of my former students and the RN actually took care of me once when I was in the Hospital Now that was a strange thing, but we both laughed about it and she is a very good nurse.

About the lesson

I have been teaching, mostly at the college level, since 1988. I also have taught adult ed. I have tutored many students from high school through graduate school. My major was Accounting, but I have taught and tutored in the Business world also. I have also done some Math tutoring. I want my students to succeed. I am a half way person, meaning that you meet me half way and I will take you the other half to be successful. We both have a job, and we both should expect that each other will complete that job. In my class you start out with an A, your job is to work to keep it there.
