About Dean
I am an accounting student at UCT studying to be a CA(SA). I have always had a passion for maths ever since I was in primary school. I went to King Edward VII school in Johannesburg and was both a school and hostel prefect. I received academic colors and always had a passion for sport. I then moved to Cape Town to start studying at UCT.

I try and use logic and understanding to teach, I believe that especially with math, it’s not necessarily about learning thing s off by heart but by understanding the concepts behind the rules. I believe that math is like a puzzle and you just have to fit the right pieces together. I feel as if all learners have the ability to do well, they just have to be taught right.
