Accounting

Accounting is a required class, but I just don't get it, or I love certain areas of accounting but some parts I just don't get. In either case I will make it easy starting with the very first lesson.

About Edward

I have an undergraduate degree in accounting from Ottawa University, a Master of Science in Accounting from Wilmington University and Master of Business Administration from Wilmington University. The last two degrees were completed in the last two years. I feel like I am well versed in what any student needs because of my recent experience. I have worked as a banker for 20 years, in sales for over 10 years and most recently as a financial advisor for the last 12 years. My work background provides a lot of practical experience in support of my academic experience.

About the lesson

During the first lesson we will create a lesson plan to get you results quickly. Everyone learns using different methods and a different pace, so I believe it is necessary to have that discussion during our first meeting. Some people are just taking the basic accounting classes for their major and they hope they will never see the details again. Others have chosen it as a major and other just want to be bookkeepers. We will discuss why you are taking the class, what learning techniques are best for you and what is your end game. Based on that discussion we will build a lesson plan for you.
