About Nerine
I have always wanted to teach and have been doing so in some capacity since I have started my studies. I have weekly lectures at university for up to 250+ students at a time.
My passion for teaching is more a passion for helping others, and I soon realized that I have the ability to help others understand academic content.
I have seen the effects that not performing academically can have on one's confidence. Mostly I have experience that it is mostly due to teachers not reaching out to each individual because of over crowded classes.
I believe that with some individual attention, any person can thrive academically.

I have experience in face-to-face classes as well as online classes and making and uploading video's for students. I have learn that all students have different needs and learning styles. I is very important to me to have a respectful but informal relationship with students where they can feel free to contact me and ask questions or ask for extra revision. I am invested in the progression of each student.
I teach accounting starting from the building blocks and working upwards to more complex work. It is important that work is conveyed in a way that is easy to understand and apply.
I teach in both English and Afrikaans for ages 13-25. Lessons can range from high school accounting, bridging courses, or university level accounting.
