About Timothy
My target with anyone is less to teach than to discover.
When it comes to most knowledge, it is less the "what" and more the "how" that matters on how it is arriving in the learners' head.
So, as a consequence I am confident to be creative and adapt the way to get to the learning targets to the situations that present themselves to me. This can mean that my task is either reduced on making sure that the learner is calm and not by any means overstimulated by environment; or it may mean that I use unusual references to get the subjects closer to the world of the learner. Both has worked very well in the past and will continue to do so.

- the most important is laughing, understanding, connecting new units to existing units and generally going for sustainable patterns, be that exercising or changing thinking approaches from "must" to "want"
- lessons between 45 minutes ans 3 hours, depending on the urgency level of the person involved
- tutoring persons from 12 years onwards, most exercised with persons between 16 and 26 years of age so far (what is more important is the level of maturity and attention rather than just the number of age)
- 10 years experience in tutoring with the following results:
- brought newbies in accounting from 0 to good grades in a few months with weekly meetings
-improved a 12year old students math grades significantly in the space of less than 2 months last year
- received "outstanding" reviews from students at every school I ever taught
- able to bring a student to pass an economic exam (focused on micro-/macroeconomics) within 3 hours last October
