About Michele
I'm a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a Big Four background and hands-on M&A deals experience, currently working as an investment analyst in private equity. I achieved a top-10 national result in my CTA and graduated with 18 distinctions, so I know first-hand what it takes to master these subjects under pressure.
I got into tutoring because I remember how much difference the right explanation at the right time made for me — and I want to give students that same 'it just clicked' moment, whether they're tackling high school Accounting or working through university content. I'm patient, structured, and genuinely enjoy breaking down complex ideas into something manageable.

I bring real-world Accounting and Finance experience into every lesson, having trained at a Big Four firm and worked on M&A deals before qualifying as a CA(SA) with a top-10 national CTA result. I tutor in English.
For high school students, I focus on building strong foundational concepts and exam technique in Accounting and Maths. For university and CTA students, I work through Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation with an emphasis on how these concepts apply in practice, not just theory. For working professionals, I also cover Management Accounting and Corporate Finance, drawing on my deals background.
A typical lesson starts with identifying exactly where you're stuck, then works through practical examples until the concept clicks — followed by past-paper or real-world style questions to lock it in. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on genuine understanding rather than memorisation.
