I am an Accounting and Finance undergraduate who is passionate to teach KS3 and KS4 students maths. I have been tutoring for one year so I really enjoy watching people progress with their studies.

About Nishel
I love to teach mathematics because it has been one of my strongest subjects. However, it had not always come very natural to me as it had to others which is when I started taking tutoring lessons myself. This eventually boosted my confidence and I was able to understand that different strategies and techniques work for different pupils. After having a year's experience in tutoring whilst doing my A-levels, I feel very confident in tutoring again as a University student, especially with more flexible hours.

My techniques include using a variety of strategies that the student finds is most suitable for them. Going over past exam papers and practice papers will be useful for pupils preparing for their GCSEs, meanwhile working with questions that are similar to KS3 end of year questions will be helpful for KS3 students.
During the hour, there will be a starter given to the pupils each lesson to make sure they're confident and progressing with the previous lesson's content as well as going through any doubts they had with their homework. If the student wishes to focus on a particular area or topic, we will spend the remaining time in our lesson going over the specific queries and questions related to the topic.
I have been tutoring Mathematics for a year alongside English and am currently studying Accounting and Finance as an Undergraduate student.
