About Samarth
About Me Hi! I’m a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Warwick Business School. Maths has always been one of my strongest and favourite subjects — it’s logical, problem-solving driven, and a skill that opens so many doors. I achieved top grades in Maths at A-Level and have carried that analytical mindset into my degree, where I use maths every day in areas like statistics, finance, and modelling. Why I Want to Teach I want to teach because I know how valuable it is to have someone explain maths in a way that truly clicks. I’ve seen how much confidence improves when students understand the “why” behind a method, not just the steps to get an answer. My goal is to help students achieve the results they deserve while actually enjoying the subject and feeling more in control in exams.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology My approach focuses on building both conceptual understanding and exam technique. I emphasise why formulae work — not just how to use them — so students can apply their knowledge flexibly under different question styles. I use past paper questions, real exam marking schemes, and targeted practice on weak areas to turn understanding into confidence. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to explain their reasoning, which helps deepen their comprehension. Typical Lesson Length A typical session lasts 60 minutes, though I often adjust based on learning goals — for example, focusing on specific exam topics or step-by-step work through challenging problem sets. Qualifications and Experience I’m currently an undergraduate student studying Accounting and Finance at Warwick Business School, with strong A-Level results in Maths and related subjects. Through my degree, I’ve developed strong quantitative and analytical skills that enhance how I teach mathematical reasoning. I also have experience mentoring younger students and peers, which has helped me refine a clear, structured teaching style. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-Level Maths students, typically aged 14–18, who want to strengthen core skills, improve problem-solving techniques, and build exam confidence — whether aiming for a top grade or trying to close gaps in understanding.
