About Shreya

Hi! I'm an Accounting and Finance student with a passion for helping others learn and reach their full potential. I've always enjoyed mathematics and science, and I understand that these subjects can sometimes feel challenging or overwhelming. That's why I aim to make lessons engaging, approachable, and tailored to each student's individual needs.

I want to teach because I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and achieve results they didn't think were possible. I believe that with the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach, every student can succeed. My goal is not only to help improve grades but also to develop a genuine understanding of the subject, so students feel confident tackling problems independently.

Whether you're preparing for exams, need help with homework, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of maths or science, I'm here to support you every step of the way in a friendly, patient, and positive learning environment.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs and learning pace. My lessons focus on building confidence, strengthening understanding of key concepts, and improving problem-solving skills. I use clear explanations, step-by-step examples, practice questions, and exam-style exercises to help students develop both their knowledge and confidence. I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Lessons typically last **60 minutes**, although I can also offer **90-minute** sessions for students who would like additional support or are preparing for important exams.

I am currently studying **Accounting and Finance** at university, where I have developed strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. My academic background has strengthened my mathematical ability, and I am passionate about helping students understand challenging topics in a simple and engaging way. I am patient, organised, and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.

My lessons are suitable for students studying Primary, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Mathematics, as well as GCSE Combined Science and the individual sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). Whether a student is looking to improve their grades, prepare for exams, catch up on missed content, or build confidence in the subject, I tailor each lesson to help them reach their goals.
