About Adilson

I ve also been tutoring accounting ever since I finished secondary school. I ve two years experience tutoring Accounting. I ve had up to 20 different clients in the last two years. I would help my clients by filling the gap in their knowledge in terms of their accounting fundamentals as well as Id help them hone their exam technique and Id often exam prep my clients.

I am BA Hons Accounting & Finance graduate at Coventry University , I am adept at the various subject areas following : Cash Flows, Statement of Financial Position(A.K.A Balance Sheet), Statement of Income Statement , Property Plant and Equiment Notes, Theory on Companies, Manufacturing Statements, Partnerships, Double Entry System, Sole Trader, GAAP Principles, Ratio Analysis, Depreciation basically all subject areas covered in first year university level accounting. I came to pursue accounting up to second year university level and came to further my understanding in financial accounting and was introduced to IFRS Theory questions, Consilodations, PPE , more complex financial statements, answering essay questions on accounting principles and problems.

About the lesson

Accounting even though it involves numbers much to contrary belief is a subject that does not involve much maths but its more about understanding its principles and rules in order for one to have a strong grasp in the subject. There are three key parts that will enable one to score high in any accounting exam .. that is : Understanding the Principles, Putting the principles into practice by answering practice questions!, mastering exam technique (meaning good answering structures *very important!

Hence my teaching methodology involves focuses on these three key parts.

I am patient and I believe I am the best tutor for somoene who does not have any grasp in accountancy.I state this because I like to make sure one understands the fundamentals really well because the fundamentals and principles in accounting are part every area of accountancy , hence having a proficient understanding of the fundamentals will help a newbie grasp the other subject areas much better!

Also I believe that practice makes perfect! Hence if you need a tutor to help you with exam prep, I am your guy because I have a good understanding of exam technique which involves teaching you the correct answering structure that examiners expect to see on your test papers. It may not seem much but good exam technique can mean the difference between a High and a Low C!

I am also really flexible with time and I am all about the extra mile whatever mark you aiming for Ill make sure that you ready and more than prepared to score even higher that you were aiming for ! :)

Adilson very reliable and by far the best tutor i worked with. I did accounting as 1 of my first year subjects with no background of accounting and because i was studying correspondently there were only 5 or 6 lessons to cover all basics which didnt help me much. 3 weeks prioir to my exam i saw his tutor ad on gumtree. I had lessons every 2nd day for 3 week and managed to pass my exams. I certainly wouldnt have passed without his help. I would recommend him to anyone who needs tutor and wants the best reasults. .

I met Adilson last year through a tutoring company called BrightSparkz tutors, in South Africa, I was pursuing a degree in Business Management and one of my core modules was Accounting and I had no single clue about Accounting .My lecturers I believe were inadequate for me because they taught us as if we already knew the fundamentals off by heart so I felt totally lost. Adilson came to my rescue in good timing.

He is a polite young man , very sweet and always cheerful , he used to charge me a really good rate and would often go beyond our teaching time to make sure I understood a concept that Id be battling with, I feel like Adilson was more than just a tutor he became my friend and it wasn't just about the work , he was often someone who would pass on positive energy and motivate me to the best that I can. I appreciate everything you did for me Adilson!
