About Anastasia
Hey! I am an Accounting and Finance graduate, eager to help you ACE your maths class! I remember being in school and stressing out over Maths tests/exams because, believe it or not, I used to hate Maths! My hate lasted until I realised I didn't hate the subject, I just didn't enjoy my teacher's teaching style. Getting better at maths takes a lot of effort, but it can be done. My goal here is to make YOUR learning experience as productive and fun as mine was, because, I have been in your shoes and I know how frustrating it may be at times. Throughout the years of trying to learn maths, I have come across some tricks and gimmicks that will skyrocket your improvement time. What are some tricks you may ask? A very strategic step-by-step sit through of the topic in hand, followed by many, and I mean many exercise questions, just to scratch the surface. Practice always makes perfect. Learning maths CAN BE easy and fun and I hope I can be lucky enough to show you that. Hope to tutor you soon!

All classes are aimed at helping you reach your maximum potential through lots and lots of practice questions. From past experience with other students, this is the fastest and most effective way they mastered the chapter! The only lesson that might be a bit different than the rest is the first one. This is because it will be an introductory class where I will run a small quiz to see what chapters we need to work on, and it is also a time for you to ask me any questions or raise any concerns you might have (this, not meaning that you cannot do that in the rest of the classes as well). The rest of the lessons will all run on a very similar schedule. They will start with me introducing/re-introducing a topic, showing a couple of example questions, then letting you try and solve similar questions or questions on the particular chapter with my supervision.
Experience: 3+ years and 500 tutoring lessons completed
Levels taught: KS2, KS3, GCSE and iGCSE
Lesson duration: 55 minutes
