About Dan
Hi, I’m Dan - a native English speaker from Ireland with a strong background in sales and account management.
I’ve spent the past few years working in fast-paced, communication-focused roles where building relationships, speaking clearly and understanding people are key to success. Through this, I’ve developed a natural ability to help others feel comfortable, confident and understood when speaking English.
I’ve worked with professionals across a range of industries, regularly communicating in high-pressure situations such as client calls, negotiations and presentations. This real-world experience allows me to offer something different from traditional tutoring - a focus on how English is actually used in everyday and professional life.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and supportive. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and improving at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to improve your conversational English, prepare for a job interview or become more confident speaking at work, I’ll tailor each lesson to suit your goals.

My approach to tutoring is practical, relaxed and focused on real-world communication rather than textbook learning. I specialise in helping students improve their confidence, fluency and ability to speak naturally in everyday and professional situations.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual, but typically includes a mix of:
- Conversational practice based on real-life scenarios (work, interviews, meetings, social situations).
- Vocabulary building relevant to your goals.
- Gentle correction of mistakes with clear explanations.
- Confidence-building techniques to help you speak more naturally and without hesitation.
I draw heavily on my background in sales and account management, where clear communication, active listening and confidence are key. This means I can help students not just speak English, but use it effectively in real situations like job interviews, presentations and client conversations.
Lesson Structure -
Typical lesson length: 30–60 minutes.
Flexible structure depending on your goals.
Can be fully conversational or more structured if preferred.
