About Yara
For over 12 years, I have been teaching Piano to students of all ages and skill levels. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals, helping them build strong musical foundations through personalised and engaging lessons.
My teaching approach is student-centred and focused on long-term development. I adapt my methods to suit each student's goals, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to succeed.
Students learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm development, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I encourage students to develop both technical proficiency and creative expression.
In addition to Piano instruction, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and improve their performance abilities.
I take pride in helping students gain confidence and enjoy their musical journey. My lessons are designed to inspire growth, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and student-centred learning. I believe every student has unique abilities, and my role is to guide them with patience and encouragement while helping them discover the joy of playing the piano.
Lessons begin by developing posture, hand coordination, finger strength, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. After building these basics, students continue with scales, chords, pedal techniques, dynamics, expressive playing, sight reading, and advanced musical skills.
Every lesson combines explanation, practical demonstrations, and guided practice. Students are encouraged to ask questions and practise regularly using customised exercises that match their level. Regular reviews ensure consistent improvement.
Students experience music from different genres while developing creativity through improvisation and accompaniment. These activities encourage musical confidence and improve performance abilities.
Besides piano, I also teach keyboard skills, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, performance preparation, sight reading, and music appreciation. These subjects strengthen complete musicianship.
My objective is to provide inspiring lessons where students feel motivated to learn, improve steadily, and enjoy music throughout their lives.
