I am an experienced piano tutor with 17 years of teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I am passionate about making piano learning enjoyable, practical, and accessible for every student.
My teaching approach combines patience, clarity, and personalised guidance, ensuring each student understands concepts fully and progresses steadily. I focus on building strong fundamentals like finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading before moving to advanced skills.
I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to give students a complete understanding of music. Lessons are creative and engaging, often including song-based practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities.
I specialise in breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, helping students overcome challenges and stay motivated. I guide students in developing consistent practice routines and self-discipline while fostering confidence and a lifelong love for music.

I believe piano education should do more than teach notes—it should inspire students to explore their musical voice, develop confidence, and enjoy the learning process. Through open communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are highly personalised, motivating, and effective.
Creativity is a central focus of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, helping them develop a unique musical voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, skill level, and interests, creating an encouraging and productive learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My goal is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians who love performing and exploring music.
