About Rory

I earned my degree in Physics after years of academic focus and passion for understanding the laws that govern existence. Over the last decade, I have guided students through some of the most challenging scientific concepts, helping them transform uncertainty into comprehension and fear into confidence. My approach is based on patience, clarity, and respect for the learning process. I recognise that many students feel overwhelmed by physics, so I prioritise building a supportive environment where questions are welcomed and curiosity is rewarded. I ensure that concepts are not simply memorised, but genuinely understood through discussion, application, and repeated reinforcement. Outside of teaching, I remain deeply connected to the scientific community. I study developments in research, technology, and theoretical advancements to ensure that my knowledge remains current and meaningful. My dedication to physics extends beyond the classroom, and I view my role not simply as a teacher, but as a guide helping students unlock an informed and analytical view of the universe in which they live.

About the lesson

Physics allows us to interpret how the world operates, from the simplest motion to the most complex forces in the universe. My lessons are built to help students see physics not as an intimidating subject, but as an understandable and fascinating description of reality. I use logical explanations, relatable examples, and visual support to clarify abstract theories and transform confusion into curiosity. Students are encouraged to question concepts and explore ideas deeply, which strengthens understanding and engagement. The course begins with kinematics, forces, energy, and Newton’s laws before expanding into electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, and thermodynamics.
