About Leia
I'm a professional music graduate, dedicated to delivering exceptional, high-calibre tuition in both singing and piano. My career is built upon years of rigorous training at a top-tier London music institution, combined with extensive experience as an active performer and educator. Over the years, I have successfully guided numerous students through prestigious ABRSM and Trinity exam boards, audition preparation, and personal musical milestones. This academic background and proven track record ensure that you are investing in structured, pedagogically sound, and highly effective instruction.
My teaching philosophy bridges the gap between disciplined technique and artistic freedom. Every lesson is meticulously structured to maximise your time, focusing on essential foundations—such as core vocal placement, breath mechanics, and precise piano fingering—while keeping your personal musical goals at the centre of our work. Whether you are a parent seeking a nurturing yet advanced educator for your child, or an adult student looking to master complex repertoire, you can expect an environment of absolute professionalism, clear communication, and unwavering support.
To accommodate different developmental stages and goals, I offer structured sessions tailored to your needs. I typically recommend focused 30-minute lessons for younger children to maintain high engagement, 45-minute sessions for intermediate hobbyists, and comprehensive 60-minute blocks for adults, advanced exam candidates, or students wishing to combine both singing and piano. From our very first session, my focus is entirely on unlocking your potential, refining your skills, and fostering a deep, lasting confidence in your musical abilities.

Hello! I am Leia, a London music graduate dedicated to making your musical journey both inspiring and completely tailored to you. As a qualified tutor with advanced training and professional performance experience, I bring years of expertise to our lessons, with a proven track record of helping students build lasting confidence and successfully pass ABRSM or Trinity exams.
My teaching approach perfectly balances technical foundations with creative expression. Rather than using rigid formulae, I tailor every lesson to your unique pace and musical interests, blending healthy technique—like vocal placement and proper piano fingering—with music theory using the genres you love, from classical to modern pop. If you are interested in both disciplines, I love teaching you how to accompany yourself on the piano while singing, which is a fantastic way to build rhythm and coordination.
These lessons are designed for all ages and skill levels, welcoming complete beginners to advanced students from age 5 to adults. Whether you are aiming for formal exam preparation or simply playing for fun, we can find a schedule that fits your needs. I typically recommend 30-minute sessions for younger children, 45 minutes for intermediate hobbyists, and full 60-minute lessons for adults, advanced students, or those combining both singing and piano.

Leia is a great Philosophy and English tutor who got me to an A* in Philosophy A Level. She is kind, dependable and engaging.
Leia provided me with a profound confidence amidst taking my A-Levels; I began with low grades and Leia helped me achieve As along with highly developed writing skills. She is very professional yet still manages to make the lessons enjoyable and friendly which was encouraging for me as I started off rather shy. Thanks to Leia's techniques, I was able to thrive in school over a rapid pace. The subjects are never boring when you're being taught by Leia and therefore, I highly recommend her as a tutor.
