About Jose
For 14 years, I have been helping students learn Piano through personalised and engaging lessons. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, providing instruction that is adapted to each student's unique goals and abilities.
My teaching approach is centred on patience, encouragement, and practical learning. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning new skills and overcoming challenges.
Students in my classes learn piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm development, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I emphasise understanding music rather than simply memorising pieces.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals and music reading. These subjects help students develop stronger musical awareness and confidence.
My mission is to make learning Piano enjoyable, rewarding, and accessible. Through consistent support and personalised instruction, I help students grow into confident and capable musicians.

My teaching methodology is centred on communication, creativity, flexibility, and positive motivation. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when lessons are well planned, encouraging, and suited to their learning style.
The learning journey begins with posture, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, hand coordination, and music theory. After mastering these fundamentals, students move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and advanced piano skills.
I explain every lesson using clear language and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and develop consistent practice habits. Personalised feedback helps students gain confidence and improve step by step.
Students explore music from different genres while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and musical interpretation. These experiences strengthen musical confidence and performance ability.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These additional lessons help students become complete musicians.
My goal is to provide inspiring lessons that help students build confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lasting appreciation for music.
