Hello, I’m **Bibek**, an **ACCA Affiliate and experienced Accounting, Finance, and Economics tutor**.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor and an ACCA Affiliate, with a strong academic background in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Business-related subjects. I have experience teaching both A-Level/Grade 10–12 students and ACCA learners, with a focus on building strong conceptual understanding and improving examination performance.

My Teaching Method

My teaching philosophy is simple: understand the concept first, then learn how to apply it in the examination. I avoid relying on memorization and instead explain difficult topics using simple language, logical reasoning, practical examples, and step-by-step problem solving.

I first identify the student's current level and areas of weakness. I then adapt my teaching style according to the student's needs, whether they need help understanding basic concepts, solving numerical questions, applying IFRS requirements, or improving examination technique.

For ACCA students, I place particular emphasis on exam technique, question interpretation, time management, and applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions. For school and A-Level students, I focus on strengthening fundamentals and developing confidence in solving questions independently.

Typical Lesson Plan

A typical lesson begins with a short review of the previous topic and a discussion of any questions or difficulties the student has faced. I then introduce the new concept and explain it step by step using examples.

After understanding the concept, we work through relevant questions together. I gradually move from guided practice to independent problem-solving so that the student learns not just how to follow a solution, but how to approach questions on their own.

At the end of the lesson, I summarize the key points, identify areas that need further practice, and provide questions or tasks for revision.

What Sets Me Apart

As an ACCA Affiliate, I have personally studied and completed the same professional-level curriculum that many of my students are currently working through. This gives me a strong understanding of the challenges students face, particularly in subjects such as Financial Reporting, Strategic Business Reporting, and Financial Management.

I also have practical teaching experience, including four batches of ACCA students and two years of teaching Accounting and Economics to Grade 12 and A-Level students. My approach combines conceptual clarity, practical application, and examination-focused preparation.
