About Danny
I am a veteran HE academic with fifteen years experience across three UK universities. My focus has been in the provision of Contextual Studies and Critical Thinking, with a particular speciality in Academic Writing. I am also a journalist and author, specialising in Film, Comics and Pop Culture, so I am highly aware of the differences and nuances between academic and commercial writing.

My primary speciality is Academic Writing / Study Skills, with a particular focus on undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, with over 500 projects supervised. I have significant experience of multiple assessment formats (written essays, video essays, literature reviews, technical reports, presentations, iMaps et al) as well as a keen understanding of academic protocols. I provide a measured and structured approach that is anchored on effective assignment planning, so the task can be negotiated progressively, not be overwhelming and result in a strong outcome.
