About Abira
I am a passionate educator with over seven years of experience in creating student-centered learning environments. I hold a Bachelor’s in Administration Education, Master's in HR, International TEFL/TESOL certified and have spent my career focusing to increase engagement. My greatest strengths are creativity in lesson planning and effective classroom management. I bring a high level of energy to the classroom to make learning memorable, such as using storytelling to teach complex historical events. I also take pride in building strong, positive relationships with my students, which naturally improves classroom management and keeps students focused and engaged.

My approach bridges theory with real-world application. I believe knowledge is most memorable when students see its utility. I often use Project-Based Learning (PBL), where students work on long-term, hands-on projects that require them to solve problems rather than just memorize facts. For instance, instead of a test, I might ask students to create a documentary or build a model to demonstrate their understanding of a complex topic.
