About Charisse
My name is Charisse Manley and I am looking for a part-time position working anywhere from 10-20 hours per week. I have two Master's degrees, an M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership and an M.A. in Human Services Counseling: Marriage and Family. I also have several years of experience teaching students in a variety of subject matters and ages groups. I currently hold a Hawaii Teaching License in 6-8th Math and taught 6th grade Math and Science for two years.
Additionally, I have several years of experience tutoring college aged student athletes at Azusa Pacific University and Liberty University. I am currently the Head Women's Coach of the LU Women's Wrestling team and am looking for an additional, supplemental job. I love the Lord and am passionate about equipping students with the tools they need to excel as a whole individual.

I strongly believe that every student has strengths that can be cultivated and capitalized on to bring about personal success. As a teacher/tutor, I seek to deliver information in a way that engages students and challenges them to grow in their academic understanding. I understand that every student is unique and therefore, learns in a unique manner which I do my best to accommodate and work with. My desire is to encourage students to adventure into the world of learning as they encounter new ideas, concepts, and curriculum.
