About Paris
I am a student in high school and have been tutoring students in elementary school for 7 months from home. I have tutored as a volunteer to help students who struggle in math because I once struggled as well and would like to help others who are going through the same struggles as I did.

My teaching method is to ask the students what method is best for them to learn the topic whether that be lecture videos, practice worksheets, or games. Once they tell me what method they prefer, I implement the method into the lesson so they can have a better experience learning something that helps them understand the concept best. After the student watches the video or finishes either of the tasks, I ask them if they have any questions about the video or need further help on the topic and if they do, I help them. I also explain the topic to them after the video is done or after they have finished practicing because the more the concept is taught or explained, the better they’ll retain the information.
