About Brenda
I have over 30 years of experience in teaching the foundations of Academic English for students ranging in age from 4 to 74 in public education and as a professor in a Dallas College. Evaluating test questions or textbooks for the Texas Education Agency was an obligation to the students of Texas. Presenting at national conferences and delivering staff development to teachers is how I share the results of research.

Depending on what is being taught, using excellent examples as a model for performance, discussion, and games for practice are part of my repertoire.
