About Katy
After working for many years as a teacher, both for oboe and piano, I realised that an area that is often overlooked in music education is music theory and aural tests. I enjoy bringing these tests to life with my pupils, and have taught both subjects online and in person for over twenty years.

Formerly the Associate Principal Oboist of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, I now provide music theory and aural tests support for ABRSM exams from grade one to eight.
I have been a professional musician for twenty years, and now specialise in music education for all ages and experience levels.
