About Lidia
Formal piano study began in my early years and led me through diploma level repertoire. I remember the precision required to master complex sight transposition during my initial exams.
Now, I leverage 13 years of experience to help students with ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep, sight playing, ear training, accompaniment skills, and posture and hand position. Work ethic matters. I have taught 400 students over the years, maintaining a focus on technical accuracy and musical sensitivity. I look forward to helping you achieve your specific musical goals.

Tension in the wrists often hinders a student from playing fluid, expressive music. I observe how a student holds their hand and adjust their posture to ensure freedom of movement during difficult passages. My 13 years of experience allow me to identify these bottlenecks immediately, whether we are working on exam repertoire or sight playing techniques. A progress tracker shared with parents every month ensures everyone stays informed about the 8.0 level benchmarks we target together.
I organize these sessions to be productive and calm, focusing on the intersection of theoretical knowledge and physical comfort at the keyboard. My methods are grounded in the Russian tradition of technical thoroughness and artistic integrity. You will leave the bench feeling more capable than when you arrived.
