About Kum
Technical posture and hold plus rhythm and timing form the foundation of my 13 years of teaching. Honestly, sight reading often intimidates even advanced students, but it is purely a logic puzzle. I hold a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the Royal Academy of Music and specialise in classical repertoire.
Complex double stops and music theory become clear when taught systematically. You will perform confidently within 1 term.

Bowing mechanics are analysed during the first 10 minutes of our time together. We assess your physical stance to eliminate tension immediately.
Correct technique is vital. I record specific bowing and posture reference notes for you after each lesson. This creates a clear path towards the stage. See you in the studio soon.
