About Rory
Introduction:
I help producers go from having ideas to finishing complete professional tracks in Ableton Live. Not only do I show you the practical side, I also focus on inspiration and what excites you, so you can create something you truly love.
If you’ve started before but felt stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to actually complete a song, I’ll guide you through a clear, structured process so you can build confidence and finish your music. I help electronic music producers improve arrangement, workflow, melodies, layering, and track structure inside Ableton Live.
My sessions are designed specifically for EDM producers who struggle with:

I have over 8 years of production experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production & DJ Practice.
Sessions are practical and project-focused.
You will work directly on your own tracks during lessons.

About me:
I’m a graduate in Music Production and DJ Practice. I am a Level 5 qualified teacher. I have been producing music for nearly 10 years. I have a background in multimedia, creative work, and teaching support roles. I have a passion for helping people.

My approach is relaxed, practical, and focused on helping you actually enjoy making GOOD music in Ableton. I know how overwhelming it can feel getting stuck on a track, so I aim to make things simple and clear, to finish your track with a professional sound, rather than overcomplicated.
I have 10 years of experience producing electronic music and using Ableton Live, including creating and releasing my own tracks. I am a Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from Point Blank Music School in London. I am a qualified Level 5 teacher. My skills are honed and I know what it takes to create great professional music that creates deep feelings and energy. I also have a huge passion for helping people.
I usually teach by working directly inside Ableton with you. We can gain inspiration, build ideas together, fix parts of your track, or go through specific areas you’re struggling with like melodies, chords, structure, or sound selection.
Lessons are typically 2 hours, but I can stretch this depending on what you need.
My lessons are best suited for beginners to intermediate creators who need guidance, support, and a clearer direction with their music.
