About Sabriyah
I am an aspiring medicine student and I have 2 years of tutoring experience, and achieved a grade 9 in English Language and grade 8 in English literature, and I also studied English Literature A level in year 12.
The reason why I would like to tutor is because I am passionate about helping children to achieve their full potential. My job of tutoring enables me to make a true difference in my students lives by being able to cater the support to each individual student, and be able to offer them that one to one attention that they may not be able to receive at school. I enjoy being able to see my students grow in confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject, and my goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable being able to make mistakes and ask questions as I believe that making mistakes is part of growth. With the experience and skills I have gained from my previous tutoring jobs, I aim to make each session engaging and meaningful.

I offer tailored tuition that meets the individual needs of each student. With over two years of experience working at multiple tuition centres, I’ve supported a wide range of learners, including children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia. I tutor both English Language and English Literature for all ages up to GCSE level, and I have experience working with students across a broad range of abilities.
My approach is student-led, meaning I focus on each learner’s strengths while targeting areas that need improvement. I adapt my teaching techniques depending on the age, ability, and learning style of the student, ensuring lessons are engaging and motivating.
Lessons typically last around one hour, but I’m flexible and can adjust the length based on the student’s needs.
