About Aarushi

I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in Humanities, specialising in History, Political Science, English, and Social Sciences for students in middle school and high school. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students genuinely understand their subjects and develop confidence in their abilities. As a tutor, I am professional, patient, and committed to every learner I work with. I take my role seriously and always ensure that my lessons are well-prepared, organised, and tailored to each student’s needs.

About the lesson

My Approach: I follow a simple, structured, and student-centred approach. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable parts so my students can grasp concepts easily and quickly. I'm highly adaptable and can tailor my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning preferences, providing personalised notes and mind maps, practice questions, and regular feedback. For me, it's more important that my student understands why something works and not just how. Lesson Structure: A typical lesson would run for about 60 minutes, starting with a short recap, then teaching the core concept, followed by a few practice questions/quizzes on the topic, and lastly, a short doubt-solving and revision session. I can also offer a longer or shorter session based on my student's schedule and preferences. Previous Experiences: I have strong academic experience in humanities subjects, especially in English, History, Political Science, and Psychology. I have experience helping peers understand subjects and delivering orientations and information sessions to younger grades as a Model UN Chairperson, using clear explanations and structured guidance. Who the lessons are for: I teach students from middle school through high school, typically ages 11–18. My lessons are suitable for: 1. Students who need help understanding concepts 2.
