Hi, I am Maizie! I have been an elementary teacher for the past 9 years. I also have an elementary-aged child of my own, so schoolwork is a frequent thing around my house. My parents would have described me as talkative growing up, but I just think I was practicing for my career.

I have been teaching 5th grade for the past 9 years. I specialize in homework help, where I keep students on task and answer questions as needed. I also practice skills with students using an I do, we do, you do approach. Meaning I will model it, we will practice it, and then you will do it on your own. I like to make practice as gamey as much as possible to keep it engaging.
