Sophie has been my GAMSAT tutor for the past four months, and her teaching has been incredibly valuable. Her lessons are highly personalized, and she always makes sure I am comfortable with what we've been discussing before moving on. Her essay feedback has been really helpful - rather than simply marking my essays, she encourages me to think more deeply about the theme at hand. Tutoring with Sophie was insightful, fun, and full of care.

In our first session, we established rules and expectations for every week. Each week, I provided Sophie with 2 essays, and she would provide me with constructive criticism and actionable feedback. What makes Sophie such a wonderful tutor is that she never sought to change me, i.e., my writing style or the ideas in my essays. Instead, she would strengthen my ideas by providing suggestions, writing tips, or a unique perspective to elevate my idea generation and enhance my writing style.

By the end of it all, I found that my writing style had improved immensely, and so too did my confidence and overall enjoyment of writing essays for Section 2 of the GAMSAT.

For anyone looking for a Section 2 tutor but doesn't know where to start, I would seriously recommend Sophie; she's splendid :D
