Hello, I'm James a third year medical student with a passion for science. I also compete in both swimming and athletics.

Tutoring Approach and Teaching Methodology
My approach to teaching chemistry is rooted in building a strong conceptual foundation. I teach each chemistry concept step-by-step, ensuring that students fully grasp the underlying principles before moving forward. To reinforce learning, I provide clear, relatable examples that help students see how these concepts apply in real-world contexts. I aim to create a structured yet interactive learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. I use a mix of visual aids, hands-on exercises, and regular quizzes to test comprehension and retention.
Typical Lesson Length
A typical lesson lasts around one hour, though I can adjust the length as needed to match students' attention spans and goals. This hour includes time for concept explanations, interactive discussions, example problems, and a quick review to cement the day’s learning.
Qualifications and Experience
I received a H1 in my leaving cert chemistry exam and have progressed to study medicine in the University of Galway. I have taught chemistry online for the past two years to students who have went on to achieve their individual goals.
