About Ellen
I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Education (in music) degree and have studied music for 10+ years. Throughout my high school and uni career I have played flute and various other instruments. I have a great understanding of music theory and how students learn both individually and within a classroom setting.

I’m an energetic teacher and very passionate when it comes to teaching music. I can teach beginning - intermediate flute lessons and music theory. When teaching flute, I follow the music learning sequence (Edwin Gordon) of listening, imitating, performing from memory, playing by ear, improvising, reading from notation. I will also provide some of the learning resources/materials for the students as well.
