About Kennedy
Hello! My name is Ms. James, and I am excited to be your English teacher. I love helping students become confident readers, writers, and speakers. In our class, we will read fun stories, learn new vocabulary words, practice writing, and share our ideas with one another. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate and do their best. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and full of opportunities to grow. Students complete assigned Khan Academy Kids activities related to the story.
Exit Ticket (5 Minutes)
Before leaving, each student answers one question:
* Name one character.
* Tell me the setting.
* What happened in the story?
* What new word did you learn?
