About Syed
Hi! I'm Asif and I'm a final year PhD candidate in Nanomedicine at Nottingham Trent University, UK. Prior to my doctoral studies, I have received two postgraduate degrees in Cancer Biology from the University of Kent and Nottingham Trent University. I also have 2+ years of experience of teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University. I look forward to sharing my passion for science with you!

I am well-acquainted with contemporary topics within the field of medicine, including cellular biology, molecular biology, physiology and human disease. I bring together my research and teaching experience, combined with my love for scientific history and philosophy to delve deeper into the topics being covered. I try to personalise my lessons based on student feedback, so that my delivery style is tailored to the student's specific needs. I am happy to teach Biology to students in Year 8 and onwards. Each session will last 50 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for review and discussion. The sessions will be interactive, with student participation driving the conversation.
