About Amelia
Hi, I’m Amelia and I am a third year medical student. I have just started going onto the wards and learning about patients and their different conditions which I am really enjoying. I have always had a passion for science and am excited to share this with the students.
I have previous experience in tutoring students of many ages and have found effective methods of explaining topics to suit different learning styles.
I love learning about new theories, interests, people and would like to be a tutor to share this love with others. It is such a great feeling to finally understand a concept and be able to apply it and I would love to help students be able to achieve this.

I have experience in teaching students of a range of ages in these subjects. I was always a passionate about sciences at school, and continue to love them as a medical student, but I appreciate the challenges they bring. As a young person, I am able to relate to students and make the content more applicable to their lives and goals. I received A*s in biology and chemistry at A level and GSCE, so am confident in techniques needed to achieve top marks. The lessons will be an hour long and focus on the key syllabus objectives that the student is struggling with most. Both my teaching style and content are adaptable to suit each student's needs.
