About Romal
Hi everyone, I'm Romal. I grew up in Harrogate, went to St. Aidans Church of England High School and then continued on at St John Fisher and St Aidans Associated Sixth Form. I'm now a 4th year Medicine student at Lancaster University. I have been tutoring locally - including students from my old school! - for the past 3 years, and successfully mentored students to push their grades up by 2 grades. I'm now keen to support more students and families nearby to where I grew up and any other areas.
Having achieved A*AA in my A-levels, I'm confident in helping students of all abilities progress in their studies and meet their goals. I believe that the best learning occurs when working from basic principles and focusing on addressing weaknesses – something that's harder to do in a large classroom. I specialise in supporting aspiring medical students with the full application process including MMI interviews and personal statements.
