About David
In the Honours section of my English Literature degree, I am looking to build a tutoring network around Glasgow. I spent an academic year in France teaching English, which was an important time, learning and developing my tutoring abilities. Last summer, I taught guitar to kids at a summer camp in Ohio, which again was a great time and was highly rewarding. I am a qualified badminton coach, and have worked with players ranging from six to sixty.

For me, teaching is far less about talking and telling as it is about listening and observing. The methodology that might suit one student perfectly could be useless for another student. I pride myself on my adaptability, getting to know each student personally and presenting the information in a way that works for them.
