About Tom
My name is Tom, I am a 21 year old geography major at the university of the Sunshine Coast. I love everything about Geography, but my particular love is reading and building maps.
I live an active lifestyle, my hobbies include surfing, the ocean, computers and GIS, and fitness!
I am able to connect with students of a variety of ages and I always seek to make positive and lasting relationships with my students.

I love inquiry based learning, where both myself and my students seek to answer the most interesting and pressing questions in the field of Geography!
I ensure and actively encourage cross-curriculum skills are used in my lessons (such as a focus on correct literacy and numeracy) .
I ensure to tailor my approach to suit individual learner needs and do my utmost to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all my students.
My lessons are for all ages, but primarily secondary school level (7-12).
