About
Hi! My name is Jessie Schmitt! I’m 22 years old, and I recently graduated from Saint Joseph's University. I have been playing guitar for about 10 years after first learning from my dad, and music has become one of the biggest passions in my life. I would love the opportunity to teach acoustic guitar in a way that is student-focused and encouraging, helping people grow at their own pace whether they are just learning basic chords or advancing into techniques like fingerpicking. I truly believe anyone can learn guitar, but I also understand that it is not always easy and takes patience, intentional practice, and accountability to improve. My goal would be to create a supportive and fun environment where students not only build strong musical foundations, but also gain confidence and develop a genuine love for music. Plus I love singing so we can totally jam out :)
