About
Hi, I’m Teri, and I’m excited to partner with you and your student!
I’ve been in education for over 20 years, including more than 15 years teaching public speaking, and I truly enjoy helping young people grow. I’ve seen students move from feeling nervous to discovering they have something meaningful to say—and the confidence to say it. I’ve also spent time teaching reading and writing and working with students from a variety of learning settings, including homeschool families, traditional school families, and other educational backgrounds. I understand that every learner is different and that the right support can make a real difference.
My goal is to help students feel supported—not judged—whether they learn at home, in a traditional classroom, or in another educational setting. When reading is difficult or speaking in front of others feels intimidating, parents can feel confident that their student is being met with patience, encouragement, and instruction that fits the way they learn. These challenges are a natural part of learning, and I’m here to help each student build confidence at their own pace.
I look forward to working with your family and helping your student grow in skill and confidence.
