About John
I have been interested in reaching down and sharing my knowledge since I was in community college. I had a very brief stint tutoring in the local area before transferring to Texas A&M's nuclear engineering program and Corps of Cadets. My newfound intense schedule did not allow me to tutor for pay, but I spent my time in the Corps teaching and leading underclass cadets. Additionally I would help my classmates and underclassmen in nuclear engineering with complex problems, and I found that teaching the concepts helped concrete them in my mind. I spent two summers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and I had the opportunity to teach my fellow cadet and future naval officer nuclear physics so he could get up to speed and complete his work at the Lab.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and I love seeing other students' eagerness to learn. Teaching helps me just as much as it helps my students.
I have a bachelors in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University and I have done research in the same field.
