About Lauren
I’m Lauren, a third-year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham. I have two years of experience tutoring and have helped students not only improve their exam results but also gain a deeper understanding of the subjects. My teaching style is engaging, and I strive to make learning enjoyable and stress-free. I enjoy teaching and aim to support students by building their confidence and reducing the confusion and pressure that often come with preparing for GCSEs.

I tailor lessons to each student’s individual learning style, breaking down complicated topics into understandable concepts. I focus on building confidence through practice questions, exam-style problems, and strengthening understanding of core concepts. I also help students develop study strategies and exam techniques. Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I can adjust to 90 minutes if more in-depth support is needed. I am a third year Veterinary Medicine student. At IGCSE I achieved an A in Maths, 8s in Chemistry and Physics, and a 7 in Biology. I also have 2 years of experience tutoring GCSE Chemistry, helping students improve both confidence and grades. I offer tutoring for GCSE-level Maths and Chemistry, suitable for students aged 14–16. I welcome learners of all abilities, whether they are looking to strengthen fundamentals and boost exam performance.
