About Metaya
School wasn’t always easy for me, and still isn’t, but if you put in the work, it can be; you just have to find motivation! Once I started to see my successes in my academic studies, I started to really enjoy school. And never be afraid to reach out for help. Even as a third-year bachelor's student, I raise my hand and even email my teachers all the time asking questions. Teachers and tutors are here to help you, so never be scared or shy! :)

As a current student, I see how AI and distractions are so easy to come by; therefore, students aren’t taking in the necessary information to learn. I have made it my goal to not only help myself but try to help other students learn better focus and school materials. I have even helped my younger sister (grade 9), and her math grades went from 58 to 77!! Sit-downs for an hour and step-by-step instructions are what’s best for my learning. And where most tutors go wrong is doing the work for the students; you have to make sure your student is learning the material! Multiple practice questions are needed for success. Once I see you understand the material and could do it with your eyes closed, we move on to the next, or a break if needed :). You will not only learn the material taught but understand it and also be able to teach it as well!
