About Lewis
I am a 3rd year student in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at UCL, where I am a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. So far I have studied in Advanced Mathematics, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, Materials and Design, Dynamics and Control Theory. In the coming year I look forward to building a Bio-inspired Underwater Surveillance Robot with shape-changing capabilities. I enjoy programming (Python, Kotlin), designing 3D models and 3D printing in my spare time.

I am a firm believer in engaging with my students in a comfortable genuine atmosphere, with a focus on encouraging genuine interest in their subjects.
Lessons last an hour, containing an introduction followed by the main teaching and then a minute of structured recollection to aid memory retention. Maximum time is spent attempting exam questions in the second half of the lesson, and the last few minutes are for highlighting typical weak areas and room for improvement.
