About Charné
Hi! My name is Charné Fivaz, a 3rd year Speech-language and hearing therapy student at Stellenbosch University. I am passionate about helping others, and follow a person-centered approach, where each person determines their goals and needs. Life science was my favorite subject during school - abnormal, I know! I am eager to assist learners with obstacles they might find in the subject. You are the 'nucleus' of your own success. ;)

I have always had a love for biology! One of the requirements of a speech-language and hearing therapy student at Stellenbosch University was life sciences. It was by far my favorite subject, and I have a very good understanding of the content. My approach is student-specific: based on each individual's own needs and goals.
I am able to teach in Afrikaans and English.
A typical lesson with me includes review of the content, along with deeper explanations and understanding of problem areas. I include exercise questions and past NSC papers with feedback. I also provide pre-learning; which is tutoring on certain topics before the topic is covered in class.
My lessons are aimed at school learners who need extra support in life sciences.
