About Aoife
I am a 3rd Year Science student specializing in Microbiology at University of Galway. I am a dedicated and experienced science tutor with a passion for making learning engaging and accessible. I bring both academic expertise and hands-on experience, having interned with Thermo Fisher Scientific in a professional lab environment. I recieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Biology, and have built on this foundation in University. My teaching experience includes working with the Cell Explorers at Univerity of Galway, where I introduce primary school students to science through interactive and fun experiment sessions. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, using clear explanations, real-world examples, and a supportive teaching style to build confidence and understanding. I am excited to helping students achieve the grade they deserve in a friendly, professional, and motivating environment.
