About Albert
I'm Albert, I've just finished my second year studying Physics at the University of Oxford. I have always been deeply satisfied by the problem-solving involved in maths and science, as well as the opportunity to challenge oneself by trying to understand difficult concepts - and I hope to impart on students the same sense of satisfaction. My goal is to ensure students achieve a strong conceptual understanding of each topic, as I believe this is one of the most important factors in exam success, alongside effective revision techniques such as practising exam-style questions. My goal is for each lesson to be a low-pressure, approachable environment where students feel comfortable and unafraid to make mistakes and ask many questions.

I teach Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at GCSE and A Level, and can teach any exam board. I also provide help preparing students for the PAT admissions test.
My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student - I will ask for which topics need the most attention, and make them my highest priority. Each lesson will be 1-2 hours, starting with ensuring strong conceptual foundations (I believe this is the key to problem-solving success), followed by solving practice questions and past exam questions together.
I have previous experience tutoring GCSE students in maths and science. I have also been a verified tutor on MyTutor for a year, from which I have received a DBS check.
