About James
Im a 3rd Year Medical Student who throughout secondary school always enjoyed the subjects of chemistry, maths and biology. In my spare time I’m the Captain of the Fencing Club in Trinity and like to travel.
My sixth year (2019) was the last full academic year prior to the pandemic with a normal leaving certificate experience. I hope to use my knowledge of the exams to offer a full and comprehensive look at the leaving certificate course to prepare my students for anything the paper can throw at them.

My approach to grinds involves the use of supplemental information/notes in the form of topic summaries which outline the important points for getting marks in the exams. Important to my approach is strict adherence to the marking scheme for maximum yield in the exams. I also assign homework that will be marked and graded

I would strongly recommend James to anyone who needs help with Maths and Biology for the leaving cert. He helped not only me but a group of my friends and we were all delighted with our progress. He was patient and understanding and really helped us through the difficult course (particularly in higher level maths!). I really enjoyed my classes with him and he made a stressful year a lot easier
I was afraid to take grinds and understand the topics as I had just moved from Belgium, but James was a great tutor and explained all the concepts clearly.
